Our Dance Fitness classes are beginner-friendly, yet offer enough challenge for the fitness enthusiast. Our follow-the-leader format will allow you to tone and stretch your body while getting in shape with these energizing dance workouts!
We offer a more comprehensive program than any other dance studio in Los Angeles. Because we have more than one classroom, we often run two or more classes simultaneously.
This gives great depth to our program and we are able to offer beginning thru advanced levels in each of the popular styles of dance. Our program's versatility allows you to advance at your own pace; many of our students attend class two or three times per week.
3rd Street Dance has been teaching Los Angeles to dance for over 35 years. We offer a comprehensive dance curriculum for adults in all styles of dance.
The class is a fusion of 30 minutes of Pilates/barre and 30 minutes of luxurious and juicy stretching. Students will learn basic skills while enhancing flexibility, strength, balance and muscle control. A program designed specifically for dancers by a Sports trainer with the knowledge of the body and the extreme demands of dance.
Legs and Feet Class work on flexibility and strength. Students will be working to heighten their extensions as well as lengthen their lines through the feet. The class is structured with a stretching warm-up which leads into the various center and across the floor exercises.
Do you want to have fun and get fit? Join us for some upbeat grooves from the past to present. This energetic and energizing class will take you on a journey through stylized jazz movement, contemporary dance technique, strengthening exercises, and low impact cardio.
