From classic to creative, fall’s best fruits and vegetables are the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Chef Lisa has taken familiar favourites and given them a special twist or technique. Just picked apples shine both sweet and savoury, rediscover plums, dig into kale and peppers.
Teens get hands-on experience with everything from choosing a recipe, shopping for ingredients, and chopping veggies. Teens will take part in planning meals, making grocery lists, budgeting, and shopping.
This 4-day workshop (1 day per week) provides you with an understanding of food skills education delivered by a Red Seal Chef in our state of the art Community Kitchen. Is a showcase of culinary and presentations skills! Students compete in their own school, with the winning group advancing to the Provincial Competition where they prepare a meal and present it to a panel of judges.
