One of the world's oldest cultures, China has a complex cuisine, with a range of regional dishes often not found anywhere outside of the country.
Some techniques, ingredients and dishes are similar throughout all of China; this Essentials class focuses on those, giving you a well-rounded overview of Chinese food and culinary culture. From stir-frying and braising to steaming and red cooking, you will learn to use traditional Chinese techniques to make a menu that includes: scallion pancakes with dipping sauce; red-cooked chicken with rice; dan dan noodles; and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce.

Stocks, Soups Sauces Preparations class is offered by The Biltmore Culinary Academy. The Biltmore Culinary Academy offers classes for adults and children alike.  Improve your cooking skills or gift a class to a foodie friend.
In this hands-on, interactive class you will sharpen your knife skills while you roast, poach, pan-fry and eat your way through Northern Chinese dishes.
Ring in the year of the rabbit with vegetarian momos (a Tibetan dumpling), egg rolls, and spicy mapo tofu. This class is filled with knife skills, dough making, and dumpling shaping and will be fun for novice cooks and experts alike.
Dumpling and Dim Sum class is offered by Blue Bamboo. Enjoy a day of learning, cooking, and eating with Chef Dennis. We will make dim sum dumplings and wontons that are sure to please any guests.
