This has been one of our most popular online offerings and I love introducing how you can make deeply flavored breads, at home. No machine required!

Our formula uses a pre-ferment to deliver great flavor and an easy to work with dough.

Order the Ingredient Kit option and we includes Barley Malt syrup, fresh-milled spelt flour and all the topping.

1) Homemade Bagels with whipped cream cheese
2) Herbed Egg Salad (great with smoked salmon!)

 

We love preparing and teaching breads and this recipe really shows off how a litle bit of overnight set-up (less than 5 minutes of active time) yields a wildly delicious and easy to work with, dough.

Our version calls for regular all-purpose flour (although we like to include a bit of spelt if available for depth of flavor and wholesomeness) and takes a cue from Montreal-style bagels, boiled in honeyed water.
