Whether you’re passionate about Japanese cuisine or simply looking to expand your skills in the kitchen and try something new, you will have opportunity to take part with this private cooking class in the heart of Edinburgh. Learn how to make original Japanese MAKI, STIR FRY and GYOZA.
Our cookery courses in the East Midlands include a short demonstration followed by "hands-on" cooking with tutoring to your own specific requirements. Recipes and ingredients are all provided.
Sushi class - four different types of sush (hoso maki, nigiri, inside out maki and chirashi zushi) and miso soup
Dinner Party Class - your choice of 4 dishes and plain Japanese style rice (please open Menu page for your choices)
Firstly, our chef will show everyone the techniques of preparing and cooking your own Sumeshi sushi rice. Then the class will be shown how to prepare a range of different sushi, beginning by making your very own cured Salmon and Cucumber Nori Maki roll, accompanied with Japanese Miso Noodle Soup.
