Fostering Your Creations In Our Space
We believe in renewing and growing the food culture in Southeast Detroit by reducing risk for food-start ups that do not require a full time facility to produce or assemble your creations. Proud Mitten Kitchen offers aid in helping businesses grow their product, expand their market and gain access to the Michigan Food Community where other similar businesses share ideas and network.
Our Kid's Cooking Parties are a fun & safe way to celebrate your little chef. We host events that are age appropriate for children ages 4 through 17. Our events range from Cookie and Pizza Making Parties to Full Blown Teen Culinary Competitions!
Each session has a general theme and as in any of our classes each student brings home all of their creations to share!
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen hosted a full summer of in-person culinary and baking camps. All virtual summer camp sessions are available here.
More advanced classes at Bakers Buzzin' geared towards Junior Chefs who are ready for a next level cooking experience and have a desire to build on existing skills and knowledge!
In-person teen classes are back! In our hands-on cooking classes, tots and kids get to chop, grate, measure, mix and roll their way to delicious dishes with the guidance of our engaging instructors.
