Kids Night Out™ workshops are 3-hour, hands-on cooking experiences based on popular themes. Each event provides valuable culinary instruction in a fun, relaxed environment.
A Dallas native, Dottie Corder has called Rockwall home since 2005 with her husband George. The family friendly country feel of the area has been the backdrop for countless memories as they raised their three children and now enjoy time with their grandchildren.
Dottie is a member of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, Royse City Chamber of Commerce, supports Children’s Advocacy Center and Boys and Girls Club. George and Dottie are involved at Cornerstone Community Church and enjoy, singing together, playing golf, and family activities.
Dottie is thankful for the opportunity to be a positive influence with children, hoping that as they grow, they'll be able to look back on wonderful experiences they encountered at Young Chefs Academy where they learned the Joy and Value of Cooking.
Our themed weekly classes are a fun way for your kids to focus on hands-on kids cooking class sessions while learning recipes to try at home. Your Lil' Chef will gain skills that are designed to appeal to the abilities of most children.
Each session has a general theme and as in any of our classes each student brings home all of their creations to share!
