Course Details

The first lesson in a cook's training is to learn to select, handle, and maintain knives. Each knife has a specific purpose for which it is best suited. Learning to use each knife confidently and accurately takes a great deal of practice.

Focusing on vegetable and fruit preparation, you will learn to use the correct knife with confidence, being shown how to chop, slice, and dice like a pro in this hands-on workshop.

Autumn/Winter Menu:

  • Butternut squash with ginger and tomatoes with lime yogurt
  • Sweet dill slaw

Spring/Summer Menu:

  • Fennel salad with blood orange, watercress, and black olives
