Our 2 day Teen Cookery Toolbox is a hands-on, fun-filled, practical cookery course for young foodies aged 12-17.
Over the two days, budding master chefs will be kept busy tackling a range of skills and cooking techniques, and learning to make some delicious recipes to be taken home and enjoyed by all the family.
In the trusted company of our Leiths expert teachers, they will cook up dishes like Teriyaki chicken skewers and chili & cheese bean burgers, and be introduced to different flavors such as Umami in Miso roasted aubergines, Chimichurri herbed mayonnaise. The class will cover a host of skills including marinating and seasoning, shallow frying, bread, preserving/jam making, along with the cake methods - melting and rubbing in; giving them confidence in the kitchen that they will be able to bring to their own home cooking.

Leiths is an industry-leading cookery school offering professional chef diplomas, enthusiast courses and online cooking courses.
We provide all equipment, including aprons here at the Hobbs House Bakery Cookery School, so all you need on the day is yourselves and a passion for baking.
One ticket for two children. Get your children baking this summer. Our bread-making day is designed for kids aged 7-16.
Kids and teens will be encouraged to try new tastes and ingredients while cooking at Jules Cuisine Junior, introducing them to a wide range of locally sourced foods.

Our pre-school classes are designed with our littlest chefs in mind. We offer both face to face classes as well as online cooking classes too. With a little helping hand from you, each week we make recipes which encourage children to get stuck in!
