In this class we will prepare three Mediterranean inspired dishes and explore the diet that many health professionals consider to be the healthiest in the world. People who consume the Mediterranean diet have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's Disease and many other major health conditions.

Sprout was established in 2011 as a hands-on, healthy cooking school focused on educating people around how to enjoy fresh healthy and seasonal food every day and highlighting the relationship between food and health.
Since 2011 this innovative and energetic business has expanded to encompass more than cooking classes. Today Sprout is not only home to Sprout Cooking School, but also Sprout Health Studio, a one on one nutrition consulting service, Sprout Catering, a hassle-free professional food service offering fresh, seasonal and delicious food options for all occasions and Sprout Training, a registered training organisation established to educate food industry around the correct management of dietary requirements.
Our purpose-built kitchen is South Australia's largest, and when we say our classes are 'hands-on', we mean it. A class at Sprout means cooking our recipes from start to finish, learning valuable skills, new techniques and delicious, healthy dishes to add to your repertoire.
There's no standing around and watching at Sprout, everyone gets a slice of the action.
The great thing about Mediterranean cuisine is that it is often very quick to cook! As it has influences from a wide range of countries, there is a lot you can experiment with.
The wonderful flavours enjoyed in this class are deeply entrenched in its colourful and somewhat turbulent history.
Mezze originated from the Persian word Maze which means “to taste” or “relish”. Often served as part of a multi course meal or as snacks with drinks, these tasty little plates will definitely make your guests talk and enjoy the moment.
Our chefs will take you on a journey through the Mediterranean, Middle East, Europe and Asia including vegetarian and vegan cuisines.
