Feel like you need more time to practice your moves? Come along! Each class begins with a warm up and then it is up to you to choose what you work on. This stucture-free class will give you an opportunity to master your skills under supervision of our instructors. Practice makes perfect!
As you progress through the levels, you will find that many of the moves require more skin to pole contact. For these moves, shorts and a singlet work better. High heels are not compulsory in our classes. Our instructors wear them, whether or not you do is up to you.
At South Pole Dance, we believe the best way to get fit and stay in shape is to have fun doing it. Pole dancing is a great way to improve your self-confidence and your fitness. You won't believe what you are capable of!
No prior dance skills, strength or flexibility is required when you come for your first class so if you are worried about not having a dance background, don't be!
Most of our students have no prior dance experience.
Classes are suitable for all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels. Before you know it you will be spinning and dancing like a star!
No matter your skill level you can progress at your own pace! Our open-level group classes will be focused on your abilities. There is also plenty of freedom to explore private training or independent sessions.
If you’re up to the challenge, private sessions with our instructors will replace your cardio, flexibility, and strength programs with a single fun workout that will leave you ripped and equipped with new moves to amaze your friends!

Pole Fitness Level One is a 6-week course designed for adults of any fitness level, who want to try pole dance for the first time. It’s also ideal for current students who want to perfect the fundamentals of pole.
This course is designed for everyone to introduce absolute beginners to pole dancing
Level 1 is our beginner class focused around learning basic spins and transitions. You’ll build strength and body awareness to help you move up to the next level. If you've got no experience with pole dancing, these are the classes to attend.
