Our Preschool Classes are designed specifically for ages 2-5 and are bursting with hands-on activities, healthy concept learning through games, and of course, empowering your little one to create their own special healthy snacks. Classes are theme-based and 45-60 minutes in length.
Reach out for more details about on-site classes and demonstrations for daycares and in-school preschool programs. Classes can also be held at local community centers or with private parent groups.
Objective:
In these classes, our youngest chefs will be introduced to a whole food and learn about it’s benefits in a kid-friendly and easy to understand format.

Class Structure:
Each preschool class is between 45 minutes and 1 hour. We start with a short game or activity, read a related book and then assemble (and eat!) a kid-approved recipe using whole foods.

Becoming a Certified Healthy Hands Cooking Instructor is a dream come true. There are classes for all ages and interests. There are Birthday Party Themed Classes, Kids Camps and our most popular program is our 8-hour core class. There are even classes on healthy treats for your dogs! Through the recipes and training, we’re fighting obesity and improving health through our healthy cooking classes.
Over the week, kids will gain knowledge of stovetop and oven cooking methods, knife skills and sauces, the science of baking, classic techniques, and kitchen chemistry which is sure to lead to more confidence in the kitchen and a long love of cooking.

Join us at the studio where we host Plate Dates, an interactive family cooking class that brings kids and families together. After cooking, you’ll enjoy dinner together, a chance to eat your creations, followed by a groovy kid-friendly dance party!
In this class, we'll teach you tips and tricks for making perfect cupcakes every time you bake them. We'll try a variety of frostings, fillings, and batters. This is defnitely a class you don't want to miss!
Every week these little chefs will be making 2 fun and creative recipes (savory & sweet) using seasonal ingredients. They will learn beginner safety knife skills, different plating techniques, the basics of cooking, and the science behind why it works.
