We’ll explore Japanese ingredients, enjoy hands-on practice with knife skills and learn rolling techniques. At the end of class, we will enjoy the three rolls we handcrafted.

Sur La Table was founded in Seattle in 1972 by Shirley Collins, a woman with a passion for food and a fondness for community. We'll focus during the class on the basics of sushi etiquette, then practice creating sushi rolls! You will dine on your creations at the end of class.
You'll learn the basics, how/when/where/why of sushi making and how to throw your very own sushi party! The class starts with one of our signature cocktails and apps, then you'll learn some sushi basics by making a nigiri and a makimono.
