With our Taste of… classes we want to get you excited about some of the amazing food that’s being cooked all around the world. There’s so much to learn and discover when it comes to regional cuisines, from new flavours to age-old traditions, this is just the starting point for many more kitchen adventures to come.

This Mexican cooking class focusses on versatile recipes that are perfect for sharing at home. Once you know how to make your own tortillas, you can load them up anyway you like – we ‘ll give you plenty of inspiration in class for taco and tostada toppings which you can easily mix up at home.

We’ll even make sure there’s time for pudding too, so you’ll end up with a feast to eat in class and some bits you can take away with you, plus no washing up afterwards…

Typical recipes and skills (we’ll cook the best available on the day, so we might surprise you!):

  • How to make corn tortillas
  • Crispy tostadas – toppings might include a raw ceviche or chilli prawns
  • Soft tacos – toppings might include marinated, braised meat such as pork al pastor
  • Salsas and sauces
  • Mexican-style desserts, such as churros with spiced chocolate sauce
