We started Schola as a place where people could come together, put on an apron and learn about where food comes from and how to cook it. All of our classes are designed to intrigue the beginner as well as the seasoned veteran in the kitchen. The classes are a hands-on experience and usually last between two and three hours.
Schola is BYOB and we encourage our students to bring a bottle of something to enjoy while they cook and eat together. We’ll always have plenty of stemware on hand!
Argentinians have a reputation for their love of eating. Invitations to have dinner at home are generally viewed as a symbol of friendship, warmth and integration. The Argentinian cuisine is a cultural blending of Mediterranean influences from early Italian and Spanish settlers
You go home with at least half a dozen jars of delicious end of summer fruit jam to share and enjoy. A Studio classic and our last class of the summer session. Hope to see you there! Take your handiwork home to enjoy, we snack on Chef Andrea's creations in class.
In this class, guests will taste through the Brooklyn Kitchen pantry, coming to understand and curate their own palates. Simple preparations come together to offer a wide array of flavor combinations.
The Culinary Certificate Program (CCP) introduces you to the art and science of cooking and provides a solid foundation in savory cooking and baking.
Learn to prepare a chef crafted meal and then enjoy the fruits of your labor. You choose the menu and then we show you how it’s done.
