It’s an absolute privilege to bring these recipes to life with our plant-based spin. These recipes are very unique to the region of Sicily and meals you see at your local Italian restaurant.
This class is ideal if you looking to add more plant-based meals to your table. And if you love Italian food, and aren’t plant-based, we promise you won’t even miss the meat in the full bodied, packed with flavour recipes.
Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple, using only a few key ingredients.
Classes are very personal, and run by Fiona at our new venue at Woollongabba. We take things slow, we have an absolute ball and then sit down to a relaxed meal with like-minded people. You’ll leave the class with a full tummy and a full heart.

Wholesome Bellies was created from my passion for healthy eating and cooking. A home cook since my teens, I grew up in the hospitality industry, spending most weekends since my early teens at our family restaurant. My mum was the head chef and I was surrounded by incredible cooks.
Wholesome Bellies is a resource to help you create simple, nourishing, plant-based meals in your kitchen. My intention is to inspire you to fall in love with vegetables, and learn how to transform plants into mouth-watering, unbelievable meals your friends and family will keep coming back for.

Join Rosa Matto and Friends for a fun filled afternoon of preparing a variety of pasta to be enjoyed with some delicious sauces. You will make fresh egg pasta using a machine.
We will prepare the pasta dough and from this make ravioli, fettuccini and spaghetti before making some Potato Gnocchi. We will then make the accompanying sauces with authentic Italian recipes then sit down to eat the fruits of our labour – washed down with a complimentary glass of wine
Learn how to make gnocchi and accompanying sauces – don’t forget these can be used in salads, bakes and are a great freezing staple!
This class will show the difference between dried and fresh pasta, and just how easy it is to make your own from scratch.
