Pasture is a whole animal butcher shop and restaurant that offers a wide variety of meat cuts, cured products, and sausages. Our goal is to provide Portland with high-quality meat that emphasizes ethical and realistic animal husbandry.
We have carefully cultivated relationships with farmers and ranchers who care for the soil and the ecosystem as much as their animals. By striving for regenerative agriculture, we hope to preserve Oregon pastures for generations to come.
Gain confidence in both filet-ing and cooking fish in our basic fish butchery class! Each student will break down and take home a whole fish, learning the best technique to filet, as well as how to utilize each part of the fish.
This class runs from 10:00AM - 12:00PM, afterwards class attendees enjoy a lunch of grilled various cuts from the pig, Southern vegetables and a tasting of beverages made by our neighbors, The Lost Druid Brewery.
Half Hog Butcher Class is offered by Turchetti's Salumeria for all ages and skill levels. Whether you dine in with us or enjoy at home, our mission is the promotion of sustainable, real food.
