The 3 day Cookery Retreat is based on our Cookery trips to Italy but situated right here in Mount Martha. Whilst being accommodated for 2 nights at our resort style guest house (max 6 guests) with spectacular sea views and a pool, our aim over 3 days is to teach guests a repertoire of delicious & regional recipes from all over Italy using the freshest of our local and seasonal produce.
All the cook and dine classes are hands on with experienced cooks and beginners welcome. You will learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch, a hands on experience of making the dough, rolling and cutting the dough to create an array of both long and filled pasta.
You will create and cook many dishes throughout the retreat to include fresh pasta, gnocchi & sauces, antipasti, meat, chicken, fish and desserts.
Gain a little insight in to Italian wines and learn about food and wine matching and menu balance. Visit local produce properties and wineries during your stay, relax by the pool and enjoy many of our in house Italian movies.

Anyone who has already put their hands to fresh pasta making will know how satisfying rolling a silky dough is. When you start to get confident, it can become a bit of an addiction. You’ll find yourself having fun trying to create new shapes, sauces or fillings.
Making good gnocchi is an art! So come and learn how to make the perfect fluffy and soft gnocchi in this live online class. In this step-by-step virtual class, which is perfect for beginners, you will learn how to combine flour and the right kind of potatoes to make soft, silky gnocchi pillows.
In this class, you will be guided by our "Pugliese" chef Adriano in making 4 of the most traditional dishes of Puglia! You will make a tasty entree, a typical pasta dish and a succulent main dish. We will end the lunch with a crunchy and delicious dessert which you will make from scratch!
