Course Details

Here’s what you can expect from the session

  • Masala Chai demo
  • Introduction to spices – While you have your chai I will talk about some of the most popular spices, including flavour profiles and tasting.
  • Starter – 1 tandoori-inspired veg or meat item(s) which can be grilled, pan fried or BBQ’d.
  • Main Curry – a ‘wet’ curry either vegetarian or chicken.
  •  A Side – a ‘dry’ curried dish usually vegetarian.

Accompaniments:

  • A rice dish demo
  • Raita dish
  • Papadam – air popped OR roasted on open flame demo

I will talk about the flavour profiles of each dish and possible swaps in case of dietary resitrictions/ preferences. You will cook all the food from scratch using locally sourced ingredients, spices and homemade yogurt where used.

Takeaway containers will be provided however, you are welcome to bring your own containers to take the food away. If you choose to bring them, please bring 1 container for each item.
