My name is Heena and I am the founder of My Healthy Indian, a venture to share authentic delicious Indian food made healthy!
Since moving to the UK, I tried several local Indian restaurants in search of authentic Indian food. I found many versions of Indian food, however, none had the lightness and flavours that reminded me of home.
It became evident what I was looking for did not exist. While I could cook this food for my family and friends, my community did not have access to it.
My Healthy Indian was born, starting with Supper Club dinners hosted at my home for my community to taste authentic Indian food and hear about what went into each dish.
I now also offer home-cooking workshops in addition to Supper Club dinners.
