Brisbane based with an Italian heritage, Giovanna travels extensively to the four corners of the world in the pursuit of quaint, charming, and forgotten recipes. Giovanna is happiest when sharing her food knowledge when travelling or busy operating her Brisbane-based cooking classes.
She is proud to call the Lot region in southwest France one of her favourite places and plans to eventually settle there. Her boundless joy, energy, and knowledge of food are infectious and warmly invites you into her extended family.

Anyone who has already put their hands to fresh pasta making will know how satisfying rolling a silky dough is. When you start to get confident, it can become a bit of an addiction. You’ll find yourself having fun trying to create new shapes, sauces or fillings.
In this class, you will be guided by our "Pugliese" chef Adriano in making 4 of the most traditional dishes of Puglia! You will make a tasty entree, a typical pasta dish and a succulent main dish. We will end the lunch with a crunchy and delicious dessert which you will make from scratch!
Students will explore from Mediterranean region. Learn recipes from Southern France, Cyprus, Spain, Greece, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Turkey, Middle East and more. From week two, students will make 3-course meal each week, and the food will be taken home at the conclusion of the class.
Cavatelli are a pasta shape from the Molise/Puglia region in Italy (& my MIL’s signature dish) made with Semola Flour. Easy to make and delicious to eat. You will also learn to make other shapes using the same semola flour. (This pasta can be made vegetarian/vegan)
