Chef Tutor, Les Rennie, enjoys using the skills he developed in Michelin starred restaurants to adapt good quality, home-cooked food. His Modern Twists series aims to jazz-up home cooking. You will end the session with a final meal of the food produced and a glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic drink.

You will learn the art of balancing flavours and spices on our authentic Asian cooking class. Picking up tips from Stephen on how to identify herbs and spices,from China, Thailand, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam. Then combine it altogether to create beautiful dishes from these wonderful countries.
You will learn how to identify and prepare a range of new and delicious ingredients, which include plenty of fresh herbs and vegetables. Once you have mastered the recipes in this class, you will leave us with the confidence to replicate them at home.
After enjoying a welcome cuppa and pastry with your fellow classmates, our chef will share the tips and tricks to creating authentic Thai dishes including how to perfect the balance of flavour, plus you’ll discover how and why some of these dishes are slightly adapted in each region.
