Pauline will greet you at the door for your classes, when you visit the garden to pick fresh produce you will likely meet her husband Chris, who works behind the scenes tending the gardens and land. You might also happen upon one of their four children, who help in a myriad of ways.
Pauline’s world revolves around food. Pauline studied a 4-year bachelor of Diet and Nutrition in the Netherlands. She worked for 5 years at a Nutrition Centre in the Netherlands with her main focus on Cooking Classes.
She has a very practical approach to create healthy and delicious meals and help people from all ages to gain confidence to hold there own in the kitchen.
This class is truly one of my favourites. You take some simple yet incredibly delicious elements, and turn them into a petit gateaux that is incredibly beautiful. It’s a great first step into patisserie and the art of the mirror glaze.
In the Cheese Making Workshop, you will discover the fine and complex art of cheese making with a different repertoire of cheeses.
Traditional New Zealand and European Style food, prepared with beauty and simplicity. Learn how to master, savour and enjoy remarkable meals.
This practical, ‘hands-in’ workshop will guide you through the cheese making process from start to finish.
This one day workshop is Cheese 101 for wannabee cheese experts. Learn the basics of the “rind” method of categorising cheese into one of 7 types and discover that, unlike wine, the character of a cheese can be judged by a glance at its rind or cover and an occasional squeeze.
