SCA Sensory Foundation allows student to taste and gain valuable understanding of the differences between specialty vs non- specialty coffee. Students will learn to recognize the core concepts of sensory analysis and how it’s used in the coffee industry, with a primary goal to objectively describe aroma, taste and body in coffees. Students will also learn the SCA cupping protocol and methodology and reflect on the qualitative dimension of this evaluation methodology.

Basic Coffee Barista Class course is offered by Pastry Art and Culinary.
This is a course that gives basic understanding about the profession of barista and skills involving in preparing exquisite coffee beverage. The participants will experience the hands-on step by step process of selection roasted coffee beans, weighing, grinding and brewing it to perfect consistency
By the end of this lesson you will be able to make espresso according to the international espresso standard, maintain clean equipment, steam milk and create the 5 main beverages from the café menu according to their international standard.
