Workshops Are A Fun, Interactive And Hands-on Approach To Learning About Nutrition And Healthy Foods
How it works:
Presentations include an age appropriate nutrition lesson following the concepts of Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating. Students will get to practice their knowledge by making healthy snacks in class using products from local companies. The first 30 minutes will consist of the lesson and the next 30 minutes will consist of a hands on snack- making session and of course getting to eat their creations.
It is the school's responsibility to ensure all allergies and cultural food barriers are communicated prior to the workshop.
