We offer life skills training such as cooking, gardening, financial literacy, and leadership skills. These skills help children and families build their capacity to succeed and thrive.
The Healthy cooking class has been operating in Scarborough for many years now. Betty Anne Wilson is the teacher and along with some consistent wonderful volunteers has been holding a class twice a year with fantastic results. There is usually a waitlist for this delicious class.
In this course you will learn about the basics of cooking, the organization of the work plan, the sharpening of knives, the different techniques of cutting and cooking vegetables
