The training course shows you how to teach people to better manage stress. We do not attempt to eliminate stress altogether as we need a certain amount of stress in our lives in order to achieve our goals.
An introduction to the cognitive behavioural approach to understanding and addressing excessive stress and anxiety difficulties.
Stress is recognised as a condition that can affect all types of people, in all kinds of jobs, and from all social backgrounds. It is also recognised as a major contributor to behavioural change, psychological dysfunction, and serious health problems.
This course enables delegates to identify signs of stress in their team members; discuss the employee’s stress triggers with them; and agree individual strategies to be reviewed at a later date.
In this practical workshop session we will explore ways of including young people of all ages who experience anxiety some of whom may well be on the autism spectrum.
