By combining principles from several disciplines of movement (dance, yoga, pilates, functional training, gymnastics, functional anatomy), this course is a logical continuation of active, static stretching and postural strengthening exercises to improve muscle flexibility and joint mobility.

Over the course of the sessions, we will deepen our anatomical knowledge allowing for in-depth and mindful work. In order to respect everyone's limits, the exercises are offered with different levels.
On a surface of 10,000 square feet, Studio Bizz offers studios varying between 150 and 2100 square feet in a warm and modern atmosphere. It is possible to rent a studio for the following activities:
Teaching dance, theater, circus and singing, rehearsals, auditions, workshops, photo sessions, film and television shoots, social activities and any other artistic discipline requiring a practice area.
Stretching classes are offered by The Dance Theatre Performing Arts. A technique class to help students gain strength and flexibility to enhance dance technique and prevent injury.
Developed to specifically target these three muscles groups while continuing to tone and strengthen the body as a whole. You will definitely be feeling the burn with this class… go with it, you will be glad you did!

This is an open class for dancers of all levels, however please note choreo tends to be at an intermediate level.
Each class will start with a core-focused cardio warm-up, moving to a combination of arm exercises, and then followed by a series of movements to work the legs and seat. Stretches are incorporated throughout with a focused cool down at the end of each class.
