Bring the sushi bar home by practicing your skills at preparing nigiri (sashimi fish on top of thumb-size, compact sushi rice), perfecting the texture of rice, and learning the proper techniques to create a stellar hand roll.
Once you've gotten the basics down, you will try your hand at: sushi rice; maki and futomaki rolls (both thin and thick), inside-out rolls; nigiri and temaki (hand roll).. You will soon learn that sushi is something you too can master.

Ramen Cooking class is offered by Chef Alyssa's Kitchen. Learn to make noodles and broth along with seasonal accompaniments.
No crunchy noodles and flavor packets here! Learn the fine art of making ramen noodles from scratch, and how to prepare a delicious bowl of soup featuring Japan's most ubiquitous noodle in this hands-on class.
In this class, you will have the chance to observe how to hand craft Ramen and then will break into groups of 3-4 to make your own. The noodles will then be added to a delicious Mongolian Beef recipe, complete with Naan Bread made in a cast iron skillet for maximum flavor and texture.
Attend this class and learn how to make Sushi rolls. We will prepare vegetables, cook and season sushi rice, roll and eat tuna and salmon rolls. You can also make some Nigiri.
We will teach your whole family how to make nigiri and special maki rolls. Every sushi roll starts with the perfect rice, so we will walk you through the perfect done-ness and seasonings required.
