Southern English College’s primary goal for General English students is to prepare them to communicate successfully in English outside the classroom. The 72-week General English course (6 levels x 12 weeks) is designed to develop autonomous learning through student-centered activities.

The IELTS Foundation level is a 12-week, 20 hours per week, 5 hours per day level (Monday to Thursday), where students complete exercises and mock tests related to the four test skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.

The Southern English College PTE Academic course is a 12 week intensive program designed to prepare international students to take the Pearson Test of English (PTE).

OET is an occupational test of English used in the healthcare sector and is approved by the Australian government as a way to measure the language proficiency of people who want to study tertiary courses in or immigrate to Australia.
