This is the fundamental foundation for your pole journey. Beginner pole class is crucial in building the correct strength and learning to engage the correct muscles etc for your more advanced classes that will come in the future.

Building up the co-ordination,confidence and strength you will need to execute moves and tricks correctly is the most important part of beginner pole.

You will be introduced to the basics of Pole Fitness including vocabulary, grips, transitions, floor work, spins and tricks that makes up our internationally recognized syllabus.

  • I did gymnastics and figure skating at National level for 12 years. I coached competitive gymnastics for 8 years and beginner ice skating at club level for 6 years. Having done such intense sports as a child, after leaving school and retiring it has been a very difficult task to find a form of exercise that has challenged me and kept me interested (and trust me, I’ve tried it all – CrossFit, Modern dance, hip hop, contemporary, the gym, cycling, Zumba, insert-other-fitness-fad-here, you name it, I’ve tried it). I did my first pole class in August 2018 and I’ve been absolutely hooked ever since. I have performed in showcases as part of a group in 2019 and 2020. I love dancing and combining flow and grace with strength and being a badass!
