Comtrain was the First to develop a standardized, reviewable and accepted Tower Safety & Rescue Training program for an industry that has become so vital to all of us.
This course covers subjects such as Standards, Ropes & Rope Inspection, Sling Types, Rigging Configurations, Hardware, Load Calculations, Inspections, Center of Gravity and Knot Tying.
You'll learn about HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and the diseases they cause. We'll cover how BBPs are transmitted, so you can recognize potential hazards.Â
Capstan Hoists Operator course will give each student the basic  understanding of operating the Capstan Hoist. This course covers  subjects such as Capstan Hoist History, Labels, ratings and Inspections,  the different models of Capstan Hoists, Operation, Mounts and  Anchorages.
The Comtrain Crane Spotter & Signal Person course will give each student the basic understanding of operating and signaling for lifting operations. This course covers subjects such as Standards, Safety, and Hand Signals.

Like any heavy machinery, excavators can be dangerous in untrained hands. For this reason, the United States government and OSHA have mandated that if you’re operating an excavator, like a track hoe, you must take a safety training course. Â
Our course adheres to OSHA training standards and will ensure you can efficiently evaluate injured workers, control bleeding, and treat burns, as well as safely approach anyone with potential head, neck or spine injuries. Â
This course covers OSHA's standards for hand and power tool safety. You'll learn about the common hazards of hand power tools and how to avoid them. We'll discuss which power tools are included in the OSHA standard and general precautions you should take to prevent injuries.Â
This course covers OSHA’s Control for Hazardous Energy and Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) standards.  These procedures exist to ensure safety during equipment servicing and maintenance.
