COURSES OFFERED BY DANZWORX

Classical Ballet Technique has long been the foundation to poise and grace. Danzworx offers classes following the NZAMD syllabus for our 6-10 year olds, with exams available.

We run American Tap classes following the NZAMD ( New Zealand Association of Modern Dance) tap syllabus for our 6-10 year olds. 

Our American Jazz classes run following the NZAMD Jazz syllabus and teach the basic fundamentals of Jazz while encouraging our students to explore their own sense of style!

Our Hip Hop classes use the latest sounds combined with technique from old-school right through to pop and lock.

Contemporary allows the dancer to explore their senses through dance. It encourages breadth of movement and the contrasts of using weight and lift to create movement.

Students at these age levels are able to sit their final Tap, Jazz, Ballet or Contemporary exams, and spend their term classes working through their appropriate syllabuses.

One of our fantastic new classes- for our parents and babes to groove away. These classes run on a Ten-Trip Ticket – so you only pay when you attend (We know what it’s like with little people!). 

Danzworx has been proudly operating for over 20 years in the Upper Hutt area.Our 2 dance studios are kept very busy with 7 regular teachers and guest teachers available for extra work.
