STCW which a prospective seafarer must do before proceeding to the sea. These courses under the STCW Convention (Standards of Training Certification and Watch keeping) are IMO (International Maritime Organization) requirements and cover the basic knowledge about the Safety & Survival at sea.

H2S & BA course is offered by Asha International Institute Of Marine Technology (AIIMT). Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF) course is one of the four basic familiarization courses ,which a prospective seafarer must do before proceeding to the sea.

This offshore survival training is targeted at personnel new to the offshore oil and gas industry. Our Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) course lasts three days and is OPITO-accredited.

Students at NMCI are exposed to live fire scenarios in the Fire Training Unit (FTU) where they apply their training and use fire fighting equipment to control the fire.
