This course is aimed at making the candidates aware of the dangers associated with unknowingly coming into contact with asbestos. It does NOT train you to work with asbestos containing materials.
This half day course is designed for persons who are responsible for overseeing fire safety, designated fire marshals and wardens and anybody who needs to know how to use fire extinguishers.
This half day course aims to put emphasis on risk assessment in the workplace and to enable employers and employees to meet the requirements of the Management Regulations 1999 and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 in respect of a safe system and safe place of work.
Our one day course is specifically tailored for senior management and professionals who are responsible for the occupational health of their workforce.
Our one hour Abrasive Wheel Refresher training courses are aimed at operators, managers and supervisors, who as part of their working duties select, mount, specify or use abrasive wheels, who have successfully completed an abrasive wheel use and mounting course within the last 3 years.
We offer a range of Toolbox Talks covering a wide range of subjects relevant to the construction industry. Our Toolbox Talks last around 10 minutes and can be delivered at your site by one of our safety advisers.
The one-day confined space course is aimed at personnel who are required to carry out work in small spaces such as manholes.
The half-day Manual Handling course is aimed at personnel who are required to do any manual lifting during the course of their work.
This two day course is designed to assist those on site who have responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works. It is also designed to give confidence to senior management and those who engage contractors that they have recognised standard of knowledge.
This course is designed for those persons appointed to take charge of emergencies within the workplace. The course should be refreshed every three years. The course runs in accordance with the current First Aid Manual and is approved by the FAIB.
