COURSES OFFERED BY EDUCATE BEYOND ALL BARRIERS

Students will learn to write in one of the world’s premier programming languages, using an innovative hardware microcomputer and challenging, relevant projects. This course will establish a robust foundation in computer programming and teach good coding habits from the start.

Students will develop a business application using database software such as Microsoft Access. Students will be required to demonstrate skills such as team building, work ethic, communications, documentation, and adaptability.

The course explains security principles, strategies, coding techniques, and tools that can help make software fault tolerant and resistant to attacks. Students will write and analyze code that demonstrates specific security development techniques.

The GED preparation course that our organization utilizes is called the Test Assessing Secondary Completion, or TASC. TASC is a national high school equivalency assessment that assesses five subject areas including Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
