This basic course is designed to demonstrate the learner's knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements. People completing this course are able to identify and describe the legislative rights and responsibilities for workplace health, safety, hazards identification techniques.

This basic course is designed for students to understand and demonstrate safe work practices. People completing this course are able to identify the principles of workplace safety in a given workplace and demonstrate safe work practices in a specific workplace.

Students will learn to apply health and safety risk assessment to a job role in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry good practice. Also, to identify the principles of workplace safety in a given workplace.

This course provides students with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a fire and emergency warden, as well as factors involved in the safe evacuation of a workplace or site in an emergency. 

Fire poses a serious risk to us all, whether at work, school or in the home. It moves incredibly fast and can quickly destroy a business or home. Workplaces are often likely to contain many fire hazards. Knowing how to extinguish a fire can be life-saving.

This shorter first aid course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn the basics of first aid in common emergency situations.  It is recommended for low-risk workplaces and designed for people who do not need to know about more advanced topics covered in Comprehensive Workplace First Aid.
