This course is designed for employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk (e.g. as fire wardens/marshals/stewards etc.)

The qualification is aimed at learners working in the catering industry and other food handlers. It can also be used as an introduction for a learner wishing to gain higher levels of training in this area. The learner will gain knowledge and understanding of the key issues in food safety.
