Tameside College offers a total of 31 courses.
In Chemistry you will learn all about elements and compounds which are made of atoms, molecules and ions. You will study their composition, structure, properties, behavior and the changes they undergo during a reaction with other substances.
This is a part of the full time A level study programme. You will sit an exam at the end of the two year course; you must pass all the exams to gain the qualification. You will also submit a Non Examined Assessment folder which shows evidence of individual fieldwork.

Criminology is a Level 3 Diploma and students will take this course alongside other A-level subjects (e.g. criminology, sociology and history). It is assessed by both coursework (50%) and examinations (50%).
This course is structured around four Units of which 3 are mandatory and two are external over a two year study programme. These units present an opportunity for the learner to explore traditional and contemporary photographic materials, techniques and processes.
