The Intelligentsia Home Brew Class is the perfect entry into the world of specialty coffee. Participants will work hands-on with our expert baristas to begin the journey of mastering coffee's preparation.

Together we'll taste 3 different single origin coffees, sourced from our local friends at Stumptown Coffee, paired along with our single-origin dark chocolates.

You'll learn all about the espresso equipment, the beginner's espresso technique, how to steam milk, and the first steps for pouring latte art.

We want this program to be available to people looking for work and also for coffee shops that need to hire someone that's prepared for the job. 

This professional series is designed to provide students with practical skills they need behind the espresso bar.

This class is designed for novices and enthusiasts.

This is a three-day class comprised of lecture, coursework, and practical evaluation. Its required prerequisite is successful certification in the Intermediate level for the same module, plus passing a required 6-month waiting period between Intermediate certification and enrollment in this class.
