The Diploma of Accounting is a one-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) AQF level 5 qualification designed to enable students to acquire a broad and coherent knowledge of the key foundational theories and practices that underpin accounting practice as it operates in dynamic business contexts.

Students will acquire foundation cognitive skills to source, distil and interpret relevant business and commercial information and data to work within the complex commercial contexts of new ventures or business growth opportunities.

tudents will acquire knowledge and skills in the underlying principles, concepts and technical knowledge that will allow them to assist the work of IT professionals as well as broader management principles that will help them function in a business context.
