COURSES OFFERED BY DANCING STITCHES

This is an introduction to quilting class during which time you will learn about fabrics, threads, and notions needed to start a project. Also covered is cutting, pressing and finishing.

During the 4 weeks you will become a verified sewist! All supplies are included-just bring yourself and your own machine if you choose, however we do have Bernina machines to use in our classroom if you wish to use ours.

Time to settle in for winter with some hand stitch work. Here's a fun way to create mini  embroidery art pieces. We will start by hand painting a small design on a piece of canvas, and while that is drying, you will learn some basic hand embroidery stitches to embellish onto the canvas!

This course is for kids aged 8-15 who know the basics of sewing. We will go over the basics on the first day, but it is highly recommended that they already have some sewing knowledge. 

Let’s get them started young. (Kids are fearless anyhow). This is a great introductory class for kids aged 7 and up to learn how to sew, press and finish a project.
