During this sewing course, you will learn sewing machine basics such as how to thread your machine, how to sew in a straight line and how to create a seam. There will be plenty of time for practice and step by step demonstrations throughout.

Bettine is an easy-peasy throw-it-over-your-head dress. It has a blousy bodice with a scoop neckline, kimono sleeves that hang softly around the underarm, turn-up cuffs, an elasticated waistline to cinch you in and a flattering tulip skirt.

It is often said that an embroiderer can create beautiful work from just a few stitches. This beginners class will introduce you to some of the most popular stitches and once mastered you will work on a little take home project to show off your new found skills.

The aim of this class is to teach you the basics and get you started. You will begin this workshop being shown how to hold your hook and yarn, how to create the basic chain and then introduce you to crochet stitches such as single, double and treble crochet.
