COURSES OFFERED BY TEXAS A&M ENGINEERING

The Confined Space Entry course utilizes the TEEX Mobile Confined Space Safety Trailer to provide students with hands-on training opportunities designed to help each perform confined space entry, assist workers with entry, or supervise employees assigned to make entry.

The OSHA Guide to Industrial Hygiene (OSHA #521) course covers industrial hygiene practices and related OSHA regulations and procedures. Course topics include recognition, evaluation, and control of chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic hazards.

The Forklift Operator course utilizes OSHA guidelines to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to properly operate a forklift.

This six-hour online Computer-Based Training (CBT) course is intended to provide Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Task Force personnel with the knowledge to identify various types of rigging equipment.

The Cranes in Construction (OSHA #2055) course covers the best practices in crane and derrick operation using the OSHA Cranes and Derricks in Construction Rule as a guide. Course topics include hazards associated with crane assembly and disassembly.

The Electrical Safety for Utilities online course provides students with information specific to the principles of electricity and related work environment safety hazards.
