This online course, based on CSA Z460 Standard, is designed to ensure employers, management and workers understand the hazards associated with controlled energy and the proper methods of controlling energy through a properly developed and implemented lockout program.

This course discusses the hazards associated with operating forklifts (lift trucks or fork lift trucks), and includes a review of: Equipment, material, environmental, and process hazards The responsibilities of employers, supervisors and workers.

You may also benefit from having your Basic Life Support level if you are a professional with a fire service or rescue team, a sports medicine professional, a lifeguard or a ski patroller. If you are not a first responder or medical professional, you may need CPR Level A or C.

Almost all worksites present electrical risks. Anyone required to work on or near energized electrical equipment must know how to work safely with and around it.
