COURSES OFFERED BY ANITA'S DANCE ACADEMY

Anita's dance academy has been in going strong in Upper Hutt for many years. It is a high-performing, professional dance school that has been the starting point for many teachers, and young adults who go on to pursue a career in dance both in NZ and internationally.

Age 5. Emphasise the joy of movement and basic technique. Basic ballet steps and creative movement

Ages 7-11. Classical ballet technique IDTA & RAD. From grade 3 twice weekly recommended.

Ages 5-7. Beginners jazz. Emphasis on musicality.

Ages 6 and up. Emphasis on rhythm and musicality.

Junior and senior classes teaching acrobatic dance.

A modern style of dance, expressive and artistic in movement.

Ages 7 and up. Classes with latest moves.

Musical Theatre classes are offered by nita's Dance Academy. Anita’s unique expertise and teaching focus produces well rounded dancers, and believes that dance benefits children and adults in many ways.

Everyone is welcome, suitable for beginners, and you a partner is not required. Learn the basics of salsa in a fun, friendly environment and get ready for lots of social dancing in 2021.
