COURSES OFFERED BY CONSTRUCTION SAFETY ASSOCIATION OF MANITOBA (CSAM)

This program is based on the requirements of provincial legislation and competencies within NFPA 1006

This workshop meets the requirements of workplace safety and health legislation and is intended for workers with limited or no previous experience as flagpersons, or as the re-certification of a current flagperson.

Workplace safety and health legislation addresses problems relating to occupational noise-induced hearing loss.

If machinery could unexpectedly activate or if the unexpected release of an energy source could cause injury, the energy source must be isolated and controlled.

This course is designed for anyone working in the construction or fabrication industry or anyone who works with cranes roof hoists, overhead cranes, tower cranes, or mobile cranes.

The Working at Heights training program is designed to support consistent and quality training for workers in the province of Manitoba, with respect to core competencies required for working at heights.

This course is for any participant who may be required to identify and control hazards in a work environment. This interactive course is divided into three sections: hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control.

Hearing Conservation And Sound Monitoring training is offered by Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM). Workplace safety and health legislation addresses problems relating to occupational noise-induced hearing loss.

This two-day course is designed to enable managers and supervisors to integrate health and safety into their everyday planning and make them a daily part of their supervisory function. Communication skills are emphasized and practiced in this course.

This course combines theoretical and practical learning. Participants will get a better understanding of how back injuries and other injuries develop, and how safe movement patterns can prevent them.
