Your health and safety representatives need training to support and empower them to carry out their role.  This course introduces them to the rights and responsibilities of their role, including contributing to a safe workplace, advocating for their fellow workers and issuing PINs.

Finding the root cause of any accident, incident or near-hit is critical to keeping the work environment safe.  This course explores what lies behind most incidents, and establishes the knowledge and skills needed to investigate these. 

Fire and Safety Training trains Emergency Response Teams (ERT) as first responders to emergencies for several organisations,

This course is aimed at Emergency Response Team members, or staff who may be called on as first responders to an accident or incident, and require skills beyond basic first aid training.  It is based around NZQA unit standard 29321 Provide basic emergency care. 

This is for people who carry dangerous goods for hire or reward, or carry more than the minimum amount of dangerous goods for their own business or ‘Tools of Trade’. This is Unit standard 16718 and is also ‘D’ on your License Endorsement

This course is for people who may not directly work with hazardous substances, but need to be aware of the potential adverse effects of hazardous substances that may be on their work site.

Asbestos is still the biggest single killer in the New Zealand workplace, and we need to be aware of the potential for asbestos in, near, and around workplaces and the plant and equipment in those workplaces.
