COURSES OFFERED BY HARNESS

The Working at Heights Course Equips workers with the knowledge and skills to safely work at height in various situations and industries. With experienced full-time trainers, Harness tailors delivery to meet the learning needs of each individual participant.

Perform Basic Rigging course is offered by Harness. Harness is proud to have played a part in the safety performance of some of Australia’s toughest industry sectors. Helping people return home safely to their families.

On successful completion this training provides students with the Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck - TLILIC0003 and is the gateway to a wide range of enhanced employment opportunities (and potential earning capacity) across a range of industries.

It covers an understanding of the permit system and the limitations of each permit, and making decisions regarding the need for and correct use of each permit. This unit includes the issue of any and all permits

It is also designed to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Heights Rescue Training is designed to enable trainees to work effectively at heights

Harness offers a half day Gas Test Atmospheres training course covering the skills and knowledge required to test the working atmosphere, using electronic test apparatus, to find out if it is safe for the proposed work.

Harness offers a half day Fire Training course. The Fire Training course is designed to help students identify and assess the risks of the fire and determine an appropriate first response to fire incidents.

Harness offers a one-day Fire Team Leader training course that covers all the skills and knowledge required to control emergencies and critical situations and coordinate responses in the resources and infrastructure industries. 

At Harness we have a three-day Elevating Work Platform (EWP) course (boom length above 11 metres).
