The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) has been designed by Education Testing Services (ETS). TOEFL measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in university settings.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a language ability check for study and immigration, with more than 3 million assessments taken in the past year.

PTE is an acronym for Pearson Language Test, which, as the name suggests, is a test to assess your language skills and competency. The PTE is a requirement to enroll in academic courses in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand.
