The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist Technician program is a two-year cooperative education training in manual and CNC machining.

Students will be introduced to the tools and concepts of working with a fully parametric building modeler.

This course presents an introduction to the relationship between applied loads and the resulting stresses and deformations produced in common structural elements.

Examines HVAC and smoke control systems with an emphasis on understanding components and their function; Building Code requirements for smoke control systems; procedures for completing commissioning tests; testing and inspection requirements of the Fire Code.

This course is the equivalent to PEMAC Maintenance Management Professional Certification Program Module 1: An Integrated Strategy for Maintenance Management.

Covers fundamentals and applications of plumbing systems, which include potable water, storm water drainage, sanitary drainage and venting systems in buildings.

At the end of the course students should be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of Refrigeration Safety Legislation, Refrigeration Systems, Safety Equipment and Safety Procedures.

Upon completion of exam, students will have Anatomy and Physiology entrance requirement for the Nursing program fulfilled.
